Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. The Service
Yellow Pages for AI is a structured business directory designed primarily for machine readability and AI systems. It offers free business listings. An optional one-time verification payment adds a verified badge and related trust signals. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may only create or edit listings for businesses that you own or are authorised to represent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Listings and Content
All information you submit must be factual, accurate, and not misleading.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting a listing you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, display, reproduce, distribute, index, cache, and make available that content (including to search engines, AI crawlers, retrieval systems, and other third parties) in connection with the operation and purpose of the Service.
We may refuse, edit, or remove any listing that violates these Terms, appears to be spam, or harms the integrity of the directory.
5. Verification
Verification is an optional, one-time payment of £2–3 processed by Stripe. Successful payment applies a verified badge to the listing. Verification is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality, accuracy, or legitimacy of the business or any claims made in the listing. Payment terms are set out in the Refund Policy.
6. Prohibited Use
You must not:
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- create listings for businesses you do not own or control;
- spam, scrape, or attempt to overload or disrupt the Service;
- interfere with the security or proper working of the Service; or
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY LISTING IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OR ACTIONS OF USERS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your listings, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. You may delete your account and listings at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including licences, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to the contact email address published on the site.

- maintain security and prevent abuse; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases:
- performance of a contract (providing the Service to you);

- consent (where we specifically request it); and
- compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing of Data
We share data with the following processors:
- Supabase — database and authentication;

For privacy requests or questions, contact us at the email address published on the site.
Refund Policy
All verification payments are final and non-refundable.
The optional verification fee (£2–3) is a one-time charge for a digital verified badge and associated trust signals. Once payment has been successfully processed and the verified status applied, no refunds, credits, or cancellations will be issued for any reason, including:
- change of mind;
- removal or deletion of the listing;
- account closure;
- dissatisfaction with the Service; or
- technical issues arising after successful verification.
If a payment is declined or fails, no verification is granted and no charge is made.
Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated through a card issuer or Stripe may result in the immediate removal of verified status and/or suspension or termination of the associated account.
This policy applies to every verification purchase made through the Service.
These documents are intended as a practical foundation for the Service. They should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor prior to public launch, particularly in relation to UK consumer law, UK GDPR, and payment-provider requirements.
